About The Event
The transition into December as the nights get even darker, towards their darkest point and at the same time life gets a whole lot busier as the Christmas season gets into full swing, can be a difficult time for many. This year, let us help you prepare as we offer space, stillness, and sound to help you on your way.
Join Louise and Viv on this soulful Sunday for a few blissful hours. Louise will guide you through a yin practice, designed to ease the nervous system and induce a state of calm. Viv will suspend you in sound, her gongs and percussion will wash over you in a symphony of sound.
What to expect from the yin practice. During this 60 minute practice you will move into postures where you will stay a while. The practice of yin allows you to slow down, relax, and turn inward, which helps alleviate stress and restore your energy levels.
What to expect from the gong bath. For 60 minutes you will relax on your mat whilst immersed in sound. This practice is highly rejuvenating for the body and brings about an overall sense of relaxation, which can reduce stress.
What will you need. Bring your mat, a blanket, a pillow and any props you like to use, there will be a selection of bolsters, blocks and some eye pillows available to make your experience more comfortable. After both practices we will sit together and share tea and cake, so please bring a mug too.
Bodenham Hall is a beautiful village hall, with wooden floors, mood lighting and most importantly at this time of year, warm. There is some parking but if you could share lifts with a friend that would be even better.
We cannot wait to share this experience with you. As we move into the busiest time of the year, make sure your cup is full first. The cost of this experience is £30 and can be made by clicking the link below or contacting Louise via email firstname.lastname@example.org
