Yoga and Swimming retreat for Women
Time & Location
About The Event
Calling all Menopausal Mermaids!! You might already know the sheer delight of cold water swimming (yes it's June but the sea will still be cold) or you might want to find out what the fuss is all about, either way join us in North Devon for this unique yoga and swimming retreat.
This is a collaboration between Louise Pitman Yoga, women's yoga specialist and midlife mentor and Kristin Duffy, actress, triahlon coach and podcaster - we're pooling our resources to bring you the perfect retreat for the midlife woman.
OK, maybe you are not charting the waters of menopause yet, perhaps you are starting to navigate perimenopause, maybe you are drowning in menopausal symptoms or perhaps you've submerged into post menopause and feel all lost at sea (too much?) Louise supports midlife women with mentoring and yoga to increase menstrual cycle awareness and support in navigating the myriad of menopausal symptoms. Also a breath practitioner specifically for menopause, if you join us on this retreat you will be sent a breath practice to undertake daily for 7 days before we set sail.
Kristin has been a competative triathlete and is head coach of a London based Tri Club, she is also a talented actress and will combine these skills to provide swim coaching, a guided coastal path walk and a creative writing experience.
Sound good? Let me tell you a little more about our home for this long weekend. The Cleave in Lee Bay is a short walk from the sea, nestled between Woolacombe and Ilfracombe on the South West Coastal Path which will be incorporated into our weekend. The Cleave is set within three acres of ancient woodland and you will be staying in 100 year old cabins but sharing a modern bathroom. Yoga will take place in the newly built state of the art studio adjacent to the main house where you will eat your meals or on the adjoining infinity deck.
What's included? Accomodation for three nights, all meals, vegan and made by our in house chef with dinner on the first night, brunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday and breakfast before departure on Monday (please advise when booking if you have any dietary requirements). Unlimited hot drinks which you can access in your cabin (did I mention each has its own private deck) or at meal times in the main house, a fruit bowl for that pre swim banana and afternoon cake. All activities are included, yoga, swimming, workshops, guided coastal walk, sound experience and campfires.
The cost of this long weekend is £350 per person sharing a cabin for two, this can be made up as a superking bed or twins. A £75 deposit secures your booking and this is non refundable or transferrable unless in the event of a further lockdown over the planned date of the retreat. The balance of the retreat is due on or before 10th April. If you would like to book please contact Louise via email@example.com before paying your deposit on line to discuss your accomodation needs.
